We are pleased to announce the release of the latest version of the DefectWise mobile app – version 1.7.4!
This update brings significant improvements to streamline your defect management experience. With a focus on enhancing project management and optimising app performance, we are committed to providing you with the best tools to efficiently track and resolve defects.
In this update, we have:
- Revamped access to project options under a single menu,
- Improved overall app performance, and
- Addressed minor bugs.
Revamped Project Options Menu
Opening the Menu
Access the new Project Options via the menu icon in the top right of the screen.
Options previously under the DETAILS tab will now show in this menu.
From here you can access options like:
- Sync to Device
- Team Settings
- Contractors
- Reset Defect Numbering
Note: to edit your project name & details, continue to visit the DETAILS tab.
Sync to Device
If you choose to sync a project to your device, additional options will be available:
- Sync Project Data: this replaces the previous sync option you may be familiar with.
- Enable Offline Mode: this disables the app from sending data to the server when you are onsite with little or no internet
- Remove from Device: this will remove any data from your device while maintaining your cloud project information.
